Check if you are likely to qualify
Use the estimate to see how much you may borrow, then check the criteria and get your documents ready before you apply.
Quick eligibility estimate
An indicative estimate using a 50% income-to-EMI limit. It is not an offer or approval.
Eligibility Indicative
- Age: 21 to 60 years at loan maturity.
- Citizenship: Resident Indian.
- Salaried: Net monthly income of at least ₹20,000 and 1 year of work experience.
- Self-employed: At least 2 years in business or practice, with filed ITRs.
- Credit score: 700 or above is preferred. Lower scores are assessed case by case.
- Existing EMIs: Total EMIs including the new loan should stay within a prudent share of your income.
Good to know
- Checking this estimate does not affect your credit score.
- Our final decision depends on your credit report, documents and policy.
- A co-applicant with steady income can improve your eligibility.

Simple steps that help your application
Pay every EMI on time
Payment history is the biggest part of your credit score. Set up auto-debit so you never miss a date.
Keep card use low
Using less than about 30 percent of your card limit looks healthier to lenders.
Do not apply everywhere
Every application leaves an enquiry on your report. Apply only where you are likely to qualify.
Fix errors in your report
Get your credit report from a bureau, check it, and raise a dispute for any mistake.
Reduce existing EMIs
Closing a small loan before applying can lower your income-to-EMI ratio.
Add a co-applicant
A family member with steady income can strengthen a thin or lower-score profile.
What the number usually means
| Score | How lenders see it |
|---|---|
| 750+ | Strong. This usually helps with approval and pricing, but no outcome is guaranteed. |
| 700 – 749 | Good. Approval is likely, rate is moderate. |
| 650 – 699 | Fair. Approval depends on income and obligations. |
| Below 650 | Needs improvement. Higher rate or smaller amount, or a decline. |
So you can avoid them
- Total EMIs already take up a large part of your income.
- Missed or delayed payments on existing loans or cards.
- Details on the form do not match your documents.
- Recent unsecured loan applications with several lenders.
- Unstable income or very short work history.
If an application is declined, you can ask us for the main reason. You can re-apply after improving your profile.
