Move the sliders or type your numbers. EMI, total interest, the amount you actually receive and a month-by-month schedule update instantly.
This is an estimate for planning. Binding figures, including the final APR, are in your Key Fact Statement.
How your balance falls
Outstanding principal after each month. It drops slowly at first because early EMIs carry more interest.
EMI at other tenures
Same amount and rate as above. A longer tenure lowers the EMI but raises the total interest.
| Tenure | EMI | Total interest |

Prepayment saver
See how much interest you save by paying a little extra every month.
Assumes the extra amount is applied to principal every month at no charge. Check your KFS for any prepayment rule.
How much EMI is safe?
Lenders look at the share of your income that goes to EMIs. Keeping all EMIs under about 40 to 50 percent of take-home pay leaves room for emergencies.
Repayment schedule
The formula behind the number
EMI = P × r × (1 + r)n ÷ ((1 + r)n − 1), where P is the loan amount, r is the monthly rate (annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100) and n is the number of months.
Lower the EMI
Choose a longer tenure or a smaller amount. Remember that a longer tenure raises the total interest you pay.
Lower the cost
Pick the shortest tenure you can afford, improve your credit score, and prepay when you have spare cash.
Check the fee
A processing fee is deducted from what you receive, but you pay interest on the full amount. APR shows the combined effect.
